imperialism and ecology in the production of James Cameron
in Lima was unveiled two days before its world premiere and can be seen both in conventional projection in his superb three-dimensional 3D. I must say that the last film of James Cameron far surpassed my expectations. Centered
Imperialism and biodiversity, Avatar is set in 2154, on a moon of the planet called Pandora Polythermis whose atmosphere is toxic to humans and houses inhabited by an amazing Na'vi biodiversity.
The plot of "Avatar" Pandora humans are extracting a mineral that is valuable on earth and that is the solution to their energy problems.
The similarity with many cases in which developed countries have invaded territories of developing countries for its energy wealth is very clear, the clash between culture and civilization as well.
But Avatar is much more than that, the connection between living and non-verbal communication between them makes us think about the real pairing that forms between horse and rider, the power of love, the importance of memories of the people The significance of the teachings of our ancestors, the force of the verb or sentence, inheritance, the dominance of fear and neglect the physical body to spiritual transcendence are just some of the issues that make a movie critical Avatar .
