The band was founded in 1998 with the name of Lilith, by Black Thrash Metal, the band begins to know the metal scene of Ecuador . By the year 2000, the guitarist Julio Duque (Macabre), vocalist and bassist Juan Pablo Álvarez (Deadly) know the drummer Ricardo Castillo (Chicho) and joined together to create a new project but with a different style Death Metal.
DRIVE Assuming that Thanatos Thanatos is the god of death, Thanatos Momentum is a concept that describes the human self-destruction in all its senses, some lyrics here that are related to this concept, others to destroy the stereotypes used by the system to end the trends of the new generation, which rejected. In 2001 the band was at a stable level, creating subjects who were already taking shape and style based on the influences of the members (Thrash and Death Metal) In 2003 the band was evident with his first EP "GOVERNING A HELL "which would serve as a letter to local and international level. In August 2008 the band has a new lineup Eduardo Marín on lead guitar, Steve Marin on drums, James Albuja on second guitar and John Pablo Alvarez on vocals and bass, in 2009 signed a contract to lease most of the themes of "Brain Putrefaction" for a domestic film called "PUSH" director Matthew Herrera. The film premiered on May 15, 2009, winning two awards at the festival "Latitude Zero" in Ecuador and the main award as best South American film Festival 2009 "Toulouse.".
The band visited Colombia in August and played with the best bands in the country and received in Ecuador internacionles big bands. FUTURE PLANS The band is already working on new issues, upcoming project is the band begin recording their new job. The band will continue creating more brutality, while trying to grow professionally and reaching more people and more places worldwide. Currently the band is in a period of intense creativity and participation in national and international rock scene.
