The Graveyard Book - Neil Gaiman
Late at night, the man Jack enters the family home and kills all ... least one: the younger son who just learned to walk, who inadvertently escapes and is taken to the cemetery for the dead of all, who give him honorary citizenship and who assigned an individual tutor: Silas, who is a member of cemetery, but neither is alive, and yet may come and go in and out of the cemetery, unlike the other inhabitants.
Nobody Owens, name given to the child, grows up and gets to know many secrets involving both the cemetery and its inhabitants, and other fantastic creatures such as ghouls, witch girl, a resident of Bloody name, ancient being that guards a treasure waiting for his master.
Jack, the man who sought to kill the entire family of Nobody, still looking for him and the end of the book is based on the history of trying to survive No one to Jack and all the guild of Jacks, assisted by Silas, who is actually a member of the honor guard, which also is neither dead nor alive and curious, is not reflected in the mirrors:)
I confessed fan of Gaiman and this book (juvenile literature) not only confirms the reasons that I have to admire this English born writer who provided the impetus find a book collector has to buy me.
As always with Gaiman, my recommendation for this book is Read it and leave a little of the real world, to enter Gaiman's fantasy.
Greetings to all!
