I finished reading The Masquerade, felt no need to finish but the plot got me. Not my favorite 10 books but it is very good.


all begins when blue blood vampires are found dead and bled, because of the vampires blood money but the "committee" of vampires say that this is not so. Among the victims was a vampire named Cordelia Van Alen, who has a granddaughter named Schuyler Van Alen to which I said before "dying" (as they actually did not die, he would return in the next cycle) alone had the secret to defeating the blood of silver was Lawrence Van Alen, his grandfather, who was in Venice.
