Algunos ya lo saben, otros no pero estoy leyendo un libro llamado "La mascarada" de Melissa de la Cruz, y es un poco rara su versión de como sería un vampiro: que cambie de cuerpo en determinados ciclos, o que tienen un poder al que llaman Illuminatta con lo que se reconocen entre ellos, que saben que son vampiros hasta determinada edad, que hagan hechizos, que tengan "huespedes o conductos" humanos y muchas mas pero lo que realmente me llamo la atención fue como se dividen los vampiros:
Los sangre azul, que son angeles caidos, condemned to live eternally on earth but one day hope to be forgiven, to reach the gates of paradise and to enter heaven, they are fed human blood (though not very regularly, something I find is quite rare and to remove a little to the essence of the vampire).
The Sangre de Plata, which also are fallen angels who are condemned to wander for eternity on earth but these made a pact with the devil, Lucifer, and refused to meet certain "ethical code" that the blood blue (their enemies) followed. These vampires called Blood of silver does not feed on humans and vampires but they realized that dark to kiss someone of the same species given much more strength, so that they feed on the Blue Bloods.
why they are enemies, Silver Bloods need to kill to feed Blue Bloods ... thing we do not accept the Blue Bloods.
is an entertaining book, but as yet I have not finished reading yet to give a review, wait a bit longer, this is just a small preview. Blood Drinkers
