Another unpublished decision has been taken within the Council of the Designation of Origin Cigales this year has been the establishment of a bag of grapes to facilitate understanding between vintners and growers. A new stock exchange that, at present, have used a dozen growers who account for nearly half a million kilograms of grapes.
The operation of this new instrument is that growers are registered and provide all location data, and the area, quantity, variety and age of the vineyards outstanding marketing. This information is available to the wineries that buy grapes need the Control Board, located in the municipality of Cigales.
